Box Office Update: 'Bodyguard' shatters all previous records, 39.81 cr in 2 days Salman Khan's Bodyguard, which broke all previous opening day collections record at the box office, saw a huge second day too. While the movie's first day (Wednesday) net collections stood at Rs 215.1 million (Rs 21.51 crore), the second day (Thursday) saw net collections of approximately Rs 18.30 crore, taking the 2-day total to Rs 39.81 cr nett. The business is expected to zoom upwards in the weekend. Early estimattes suggest that the friday earing will go past 16 Crores. At the rate it is faring, the film can easily cross the magical figure of Rs 85 cr+ in its 5-day weekend, which will be a new record.
