Kalki Koechlin has bagged the female lead role in My Friend Pinto. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali production stars Prateik Babbar and is directed by Raghav Dar. This is the Second big Film she has signed After Zoya Akhtar’s Running With The Bulls which stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol. Apparently, the producer and director were looking for a fresh face. Raghav had been impressed with Kalki after seeing her in Dev D and he suggested her name to Sanjay. Sanjay agreed and after a screen test, selected her for the film. Kalki will be paired opposite Prateik. Shooting of My Friend Pinto begins on May 20 2010. Kalki is paired opposite Pratik while Manisha Koirala has a pivotal role.
