Kabir Khan to make a series on World War 2 after Salman Khan’s Tubelight Kabir Khan may not be involved in the sequel to his blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai (Ali Abbas Zafar is directing the same) but the filmmaker has already made plans post his current project and it is equally intriguing. Considering the filmmaker’s love towards war dramas and patriotism, we hear that Kabir Khan will venture into the digital space with a similar subject. Reportedly, Kabir Khan plans to make a web-series set at the backdrop of World War II that will be directed and produced by him. Reports have now emerged that the music rights for Salman’s upcoming film Tubelight, have been sold for a whopping Rs 20 crore. Looks like Salman Khan’s Tubelight is already talking of big bucks months before its release. Reports have now emerged that the music rights for the film have been sold for a whopping Rs 20 crore. A Bollywoodhungama report claimed on Tuesday that makers of the Kabir Khan directorial sold the music rights for Rs 20 crore to Sony Music. Interestingly, the film only has three songs, it added. The music rights of Salman’s 2015 hit Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which also starred Sonam Kapoor, were sold for Rs 17 crore. Interestingly, the music rights for Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale were reportedly sold for Rs 19 crore. Tubelight marks the Bollywood debut for Chinese star Zhu Zhu. Salman Khan introduces Tubelight co-star Matin Rey Tangu

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who launched Harshali Malhotra in filmmaker Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has introduced another child actor in the Hindi film industry through his upcoming film Tubelight. The Dabangg actor shared two photographs of his co-star Matin Rey Tangu on Twitter on Monday night. In the first image, the 51-year-old star can be seen hugging Matin, with the child actor’s back towards the camera. “Backed by Matin Rey Tangu,” Salman captioned the image. In the second photograph, Salman announced that Matin is a part of Tubelight. “Introducing Matin Rey Tangu,” he tweeted. Tubelight, which has been directed by Kabir Khan, also features Chinese actor Zhu Zhu and late actor Om Puri.

Confirmed: SRK, Salman to come together again in Tubelight

The last time we saw Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together in a movie, it was in Om Shanti Om’s title song eight years ago, in which Salman shook a leg along with other stars. Now, Shah Rukh will have a cameo in Salman’s upcoming film, Tubelight. Film trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the news in a tweet. “Confirmed news, guys. Absolutely great news. Salman Khan's Tubelight to be Om Puri's last film, Kabir Khan says will miss his warm hugs

Om Puri had some good projects in his kitty including Kabir Khan's Tubelight and Nandita Das's Manto. Veteran actor Om Puri died on Friday morning after suffering a severe heart attack. The news came as a shock not only for the fans of the actor and but also for his friends in the industry. The veteran actor left behind a massive body of work like Arohan (1982), Ardh Satya (1983), Ghayal (1990) and many others. Om Puri was still going strong and had some good projects in his kitty. The actor was shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight along with Salman Khan. Salman Khan expressed his grief and shared a picture of him with Om Puri from the sets of Tubelight. “So sad .
