A month after hosting a big Eid celebration, Galaxy apartments in Bandra, home to Salman Khan and his family, is buzzing with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations today. Even as you read this, all the members of the Khan family are participating in the religious rituals centered around Lord Ganesha.This is the 11th year that the elephant-headed God, the remover of all obstacles, is visiting their home. An exhibition of paintings depicting the highs and lows of actor Anupam Kher saw the who's who of Bollywood turning up. The actor's new company was also launched on the occasion. Sridevi, Big B, Tabu, Anil Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, Sajid Khan, Bhagyashree with husband, Juhi Chawla and many other B'Town stars met up to catch paintings of Anupan Kher depicting the actor’s life. Salman Khan to Launch exclusive Being Human luxury designer watches at a fashion show in Dubai. Salman Khan has been wearing the Being Human Watches for over a year now. He has also presented the watches to many of his friends and relatives. But they are not officially available in the market. On May 27, Salman Khan and his family will be in Dubai to launch the designer range of Being Human watches. He wants to follow it up by a launch in India and then London. For my charity Salman doesn't believe in taking money from people for his charitable organization. He wants to make products and raise funds through them. After launching his range of designer shirts at the couture show last year, he will now launch the exclusive Being Human luxury designer watches at a fashion show in Dubai. Salman Khan's Artwork Sells for Rs 4.5 Cr in a Dubai Painting Exhibition

Salman Khan’s exhibition of paintings which was held in Dubai was a runaway success. The actor put up his paintings for sale at an art gallery in Dubai on Tuesday, and raised Rs 4.5 crore for his Being Human foundation. Salman even flew in for the exhibition. Said a source, "Salman's sister Arpita organised the exhibition. She has been taking keen interest in Being Human. It was a by invitation only function, attended by members of the royal family of Dubai (whom Salman is very close to). The local media was kept out of the event. Nine of Salman's paintings were sold on the spot. There are bids for 15 more." Each of the actor's paintings has a different theme. Salman Khan as an actor and person had always made news and appeared on a dozen magazine covers, and now it’s the turn of his painting to make headlines and appear on covers. We all know that as a hobby he had taken to painting in a big way and has also sold some of his paintings to collect money for his recently launched Salman Khan Foundation. But no one knows that one of his paintings has made it to the cover of a Hindi novel titled Doruba written by a Rajasthani author. “He is dad’s friend and also a local film distributor and when he wanted to use my painting for his book cover, I painted it and according to his needs and gave it to him,” says Salman.
