No One Killed Jessica Box Office Report Review Results

Jan 8 2011, Saturday: No One Killed Jessica (NOKJ) managed to have an okay first day at the box office thanks to better BO collections in the evening. The all India first day collections were around 3 crore nett. Which is fair considering heroine-oriented films, generally, don't open too well. The film enjoys excellent reports and is expected to have a robust opening weekend. In terms of costing, UTV should make good profits on this one, since the revenue from the Satellite Rights have already recovered a substantial sum of the investment. The approx territory figures were as below.

Mumbai- 1.15 crore

Delhi/UP - 70 lakhs

East Punjab - 32 lakhs

West Bengal - 15 lakhs

CP Berar - 10 lakhs

CI - 8 lakhs

Rajasthan - 10 lakhs

Nizam - 14 lakhs

Mysore - 17 lakhs

Others - 10 lakhs

TOTAL - 3.01 crore

There are two questions that need answers, after you've watched Singh is Bliing — what the hell does Akshay Kumar eat for breakfast to fuel the insane energy he brings onscreen and where was Lara Dutta hiding her comedic talent all these years? Singh is Bliing's opening credits roll against a remixed version of Sneha Khanwalkar's fantastically peppy "Tung Tung". We see a delirious Kumar cracking out bhangra moves with such gusto that you might just feel your muscles ache on his behalf.
