Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan & Other Celebs Pay Last Respects To Yash Chopra at Yash Raj Studios

Veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra died due to complications from dengue fever. Yashji's body was first brought to his bungalow from Lilavati hospital and was then taken to Yash Raj Studios later on Sunday night (Oct 21 2012). His body is to be kept at the venue for last darshan till Monday noon. Celebs visited the studio to pay their last respects to the legendary filmmaker. Mr. Chopra will be cremated on 22nd October at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Juhu at 3 pm.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun.
