Box Office Report of Student Of The Year:
Student Of the Year collected about 7.50 crore nett at the box office on day one. The film collected well at multiplexes in the big cities with single screen business being average even though it was a limited single screen release.
The film was best in the Delhi city region with collections in Delhi city being around 85 lakhs. Its a decent first day total but will need good growth on Saturday to come out with a decent weekend as its a big budget film.
The collections at multiplexes were good at places while other multiplexes were fair. A minimum 20% is a must for Saturday if the film is to go on do good box office business in the long term.
