Dhurandar 2 Teaser Release Time; Dhurandhar: The Revenge - TEASER DETAILS

The hype for the sequel to the biggest Indian film in history has officially reached a fever pitch. On the morning of February 3, 2026, Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar finally pulled back the curtain on the next chapter of their record-breaking spy franchise.

Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming storm.

Title Revealed: Dhurandhar: The Revenge

The makers have officially titled the sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Along with the title, a menacing first-look poster was released featuring Ranveer Singh as Hamza/Jaskirat.

The Visuals: Ranveer is seen drenched in rain, illuminated by a haunting red light that gives the illusion of a blood bath.

The Tagline: The actor shared the poster with the caption: "Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai" (It’s time to mess things up), signaling a much darker, more ruthless tone than the first installment.

Dhurandar 2 Teaser Countdown: 12:12 PM Today

In a synchronized social media blitz, the cast and crew confirmed that the official teaser will drop today, February 3, at 12:12 PM IST.

Note: Rumors suggest that the CBFC has cleared multiple versions of the teaser, including an 'A' rated cut for digital platforms and a 'U/A' cut for theatrical screenings, hinting at the high-octane violence and grit expected in the sequel.

The Plot: Mission to Dismantle Major Iqbal

While the first film focused on the elimination of Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna) in Karachi’s Lyari, The Revenge will see Hamza shifting his focus to the mastermind behind the curtains: Major Iqbal (also known as Bade Sahab).

The Return of Akshaye Khanna?

Interestingly, Ranveer tagged Akshaye Khanna in his announcement post. Since his character was killed in Part 1, fans are speculating that the actor will return in significant flashback sequences or that there is a major twist involving his character's "death."

The Ensemble: The heavyweight cast remains intact, with Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal reprising their roles.

Release Date & Business Moves

Theatrical Launch: Dhurandhar: The Revenge is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 19, 2026.

Pan-India Expansion: Unlike the first part, the sequel will have a massive multi-language rollout in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Streaming & Music: In a surprising shift, the digital rights have moved from Netflix to JioHotstar, and the music will now be handled by T-Series (replacing Saregama).

The "Toxic" Clash

The March 19 release sets up the biggest box office battle of 2026. Dhurandhar: The Revenge will go head-to-head with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups and Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit. Given that the first Dhurandhar grossed over ₹1,300 crore, trade analysts are already predicting a "tsunami" at the ticket windows.
