First Weekend Box Office Report of Players

Players Fails Badly At The Box Office, Drops On Saturday.
Players has got the year off to a very bad start as box office collections could not pick up on Saturday after a poor start. Players had a poor weekend of around 14.75 crore nett as the film failed to make any headway over the weekend. The first day Players collected around 4.60 crore nett and second day is in almost the same region with a marginal drop in collections at around 14.50 cr, It collected about 5.50-5.75 crore nett on Sunday.

The film has been rejected at the box office. Below are the Saturday figures with Friday numbers in brackets. All figures in lakhs. Players needed a 30-40% jump to even have a respectable weekend. The weekend being less than 15 crore nett is very bad.
