Shah Rukh Khan plans to fly kites at Mannat this Makar Sankranti

Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his next - Raees, plans to have kite flying sessions this Makar Sankranti for the very first time.

Sources close to the Bollywood star said he is looking forward to try his hands at flying a kite



Incidentally, the actor will also be seen flying a kite in Raees, where he plays a Gujarati bootlegger.

Shah Rukh usually celebrates Eid at the terrace of his bungalow - Mannat. Come January 14 and he will be seen celebrating the festival of kites with family and fans on the terrace for the first time. The actor is also likely to engage in a competition of flying kites.

A source told Hindustan Times, “The preparations are underway. His residence is also the perfect location to fly kites, owing to an open sea view and strong wind, which attracts many people to fly kites”.

Interestingly, SRK’s next has a special Makarsankranti song that is likely to be released online this week. Raees is due to hit theatres January 25.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. Big Fight on Sets of Salman Khan's Film Dabangg

A major fight took place on the sets of the Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer movie Dabang in Wai on Sunday night. Co-producer Manoj Chaturvedi, who was in high spirits, punched the chief assistant director Himanshu Mehra as the former’s son Shantanu (an AD on the film) complained of being mistreated by the unit. Himanshu Mehra was injured because of which he had to be given three stitches on his forehead. He is currently recuperating in a hospital. Salman Khan has fired Manoj Chaturvedi’s son Shantanu because of whom the fight took place. Producer Arbaaz Khan has called for a meeting today with Manoj, who is also the production controller on the sets.
