Cannes, France – The 78th Cannes Film Festival continues to be a dazzling affair, and Bollywood's very own Janhvi Kapoor has undoubtedly emerged as a major style force, captivating audiences and critics alike with her exquisite fashion choices. Janhvi, who is at Cannes representing the film "Homebound" alongside her co-star Ishaan Khatter, director Neeraj Ghaywan, and producer Karan Johar, brought a breathtaking vision to the red carpet. For the film's premiere, she donned a custom Anamika Khanna creation that perfectly blended traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern couture.

The ensemble featured a striking pistachio green and antique gold gown. The sculpted corset bodice, intricately detailed with rich jaal, aari, and zardozi embroidery, sequins, and delicate beadwork, exuded regal elegance. Spaghetti straps and a high neckline added a touch of sophistication, while a daring backless cut, adorned with a delicate back chain carrying charms and pearls, infused a hint of sensuality.

Flowing from the opulent corset was a graceful, pastel sage green organza skirt. Its thread embroidery, neat pleats at the waist, and a long, sweeping train created a fairytale-like silhouette, showcasing effortless grace and drama.

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Janhvi's look was further elevated by a curated selection of traditional gold Indian jewels, including jadau and jade pieces, chunky bangles, and elegant ear cuffs. A unique statement necklace, worn reversed to elegantly drape down her bare back, was a true showstopper. Her makeup, a fresh "strawberry-toned" look with glossy pink lips, flushed cheeks, and winged eyeliner, complemented the outfit beautifully, while her hair was styled in a neat, centre-parted twisted bun, allowing her intricate jewellery to take center stage.

"Homebound," which has already received a remarkable nine-minute standing ovation at the festival, tells the compelling story of two childhood friends from a small North Indian village striving for dignity through police jobs. Executive produced by none other than Hollywood legend Martin Scorsese, alongside Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, the film is a powerful narrative that has deeply resonated with the Cannes audience.
