The Great Khali to Enter Bigg Boss 4 House: Come Saturday, October 16, and Punjab-born 38-year-old WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali, will enter the Bigg Boss House. He was signed this week by Colors after long negotiations with his managers. The episode that has Salman Khan interviewing this week’s eliminated contestant, will air at 9 pm, on Saturday October 16 on Colors.

WHO’S THE BIGG ONE? Bigg Boss 4 host Salman Khan, no mean muscleman himself, measures WWE wrestler the Great Khali, first throwing a tape around his biceps and then using his arms to get a grasp of his girth. The Bollywood superstar and the professional wrestler fooled around like this for some time, with Khali even shaking a leg before he entered the Bigg Boss house as a participant.

Khali, who weighs 190 kgs, may be provided with a double bed to accommodate his 7 feet 3 inch frame. Apparently, even the toilet seats are being changed to make the wrestler’s life easy inside the House.

“Right now, the housemates are discontent with the amount of food supplied. No one gets more than two chapattis in a meal because quantities depend on how well they perform their weekly tasks. Khali may have a problem because he is not used to eating such measly portions.”

The one-time World Heavyweight Champion has already appeared in three Hollywood and two Bollywood films. Andrew Whitaker, executive vice president, WWE International, says that the organisation is elated about Khali’s entry into the show: “People have seen him fight. Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father.
