Tulsi Gabbard's mother Carol Porter Gabbard became interested in Hinduism, having been raised in a multicultural household. All her children have Hindu names - Bhakti, Jai, Aryan, Tulsi and Vrindavan. Tulsi also follows Hinduism since her childhood.
