New Delhi: Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Delhi as she prepares to welcome her first child with her husband, politician Raghav Chadha. The couple is said to be surrounded by their respective families as they await the imminent arrival of their baby.

Sources close to the couple confirmed the news to news portals, stating, “Yes, Parineeti Chopra has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Raghav is with his wife during this special time. They are expecting the arrival of the baby anytime now.”

The actor, who has spent the majority of her pregnancy period in Delhi, is currently receiving care, with the whole family, including both the Chopra and Chadha sides, gathered to support her.

An insider added that the atmosphere is one of immense excitement, noting, “The whole family is so excited about the arrival of the baby and they are all by Parineeti's side. This Diwali feels extra special for them as it is bringing even more joy and celebration with the little one on the way.”

Parineeti and Raghav announced their pregnancy in August, a year after they got engaged in May 2023 and subsequently married in a beautiful ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in September 2023.

Despite the fact that Friday is a National Holiday, DUM MAARO DUM opened below the mark at the box office in the first and afternoon shows on friday morning at major centres of the country. Of course, the opening trends of DUM MAARO DUM were better than Abhishek Bachchan's last release GAME, but that's no compliment. The occupancy at multiplexes was slightly better, especially at metros, in 30% to 35% range, while single screens were between 10% - 15% - 20%. The average opening, thus, stands at 25% - 30%, which is poor. In view of the fact that it's a National Holiday, the morning and noon shows of DUM MAARO DUM should've started on 50% - 60% note at least.
