The whole spectacle began during a pre-final discussion on a cricket talk show. Akhtar, while analyzing Pakistan’s strategy to defeat an unbeaten Indian side, intended to warn his team about India’s dangerous young opener, Abhishek Sharma. Instead, what rolled off the Rawalpindi Express' tongue left his co-panelists and the entire internet in stitches.

"If Pakistan get Abhishek Bachchan out early in a hypothetical situation, then what is going to happen with the middle-order?" Akhtar asked, referring to the Bollywood actor instead of the cricketer.
