The wedding, which was put on hold, reportedly due to the bride’s father falling ill and the groom being rushed to the hospital, became the subject of intense, unfounded speculation. Reports quickly surfaced suggesting internal drama, including cheating allegations involving Muchhal and the choreographers hired for the wedding performances, with Nandika Dwivedi's name, along with that of fellow choreographer Gulnaaz, being dragged into the controversy.

On November 28, Dwivedi took to her Instagram account to address the allegations, describing the entire experience as "painful to watch."

"It's extremely painful to watch a narrative form around something I had no part in," Dwivedi wrote in a lengthy message. "I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me, particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone's relationship, are simply NOT true."

She firmly denied any involvement in cheating with the groom, calling out the baseless reports and demanding accurate accounts of the situation. Dwivedi expressed deep distress over how these false accusations were affecting her personal life and career, stating that such baseless stories could severely affect the future she has worked hard to build in Mumbai.

The choreographer also revealed the reason behind setting her Instagram profile to private.

"I had been receiving threats which family members could see, and that's why I had made my account private," she disclosed, adding a plea to the public. "Please, I request you all to stop the rumours… Please do not take my name further than this; I have nothing to do with any of it. Eventually, the truth will find its way."

Dwivedi’s statement underscores the significant mental health toll such unwarranted public scrutiny and false reporting can take on individuals. She maintained that the truth about the wedding delay would eventually be revealed, but until then, requested an end to the baseless rumors affecting her and her family.

Prior to Dwivedi’s public statement, choreographer Gulnaaz, whose name was also mentioned in the circulating rumors, had similarly denied any involvement in the issue (Click Here to Read Her Statement>>)
