It was Mehr who came up with the idea and approached IPL Chairman Lalit Modi with it. "These are teams whose members otherwise play together but are now pitted against each other. It's really a friendly atmosphere and the cricketers are looking forward to enjoying it. And from what we saw when IPL started off two years ago, there's every occasion to get-together and celebrate.
