Patiala House Box Office Collections Report/Review

The opening figures of PATIALA HOUSE at the box office across the country were shockingly low at 10% to 15% to 20% range. This, despite PATIALA HOUSE being a solo release, with no major film to contend with. Patiala House Box office collection at single screens was disastrous ranging on average at 5-15% which is awful for a film like it. The multiplex response is much better than single screens but still poor at about 30%. Its theatrical business is likely to be on the lower side unless there is big improvement over the weekend.


Patiala House just managed to top the 4 crore nett mark on its firs day at the box office which is a very bad total for its big release across the country. East Punjab was out performer.

    ITS A VERY GOOD MOVIE, EVERYONE MUST WATCH IT, AKSHAY WAS BRILLIANT IN HIS SERIOUS CHARACTER, ANUSHKA WAS LOOKING FABULOUS WITH HER BUBBLY CHARACTER AS SHE IS, RISHI KAPOOR WAS FANTASTIC AND DIMPLE KAPADIA LOOK VERY GOOD WITH HER SON IN LAW, THE PLOT OF THE MOVIE WAS FANTASTIC, ITS A PERFECT MOVIE, I GIVE THIS MOVIE 4 STAR.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. No One Killed Jessica has found tremendous appreciation and has Collected approx. Rs. 13.10 cr nett in its opening weekend at the box office (Fri, Sat, Sun) showing a day-wise improvement with each passing day. The Box Office breakup:- Fri: 3.25 cr, Sat: 4.60 cr Sun: 5.25 cr. No One Killed Jessica had a fair Monday with collections of around 2 crore nett. The drop is around 45% from Friday which is decent.
