Mahesh Bhupathi-Lara Dutta Wedding Preparations/Details

Actor Lara Dutta and Tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi who tie the knot later this February are caught up in a frenzy of wedding preparations. Over the weekend, the two were rehearsing for their sangeet, and Bhupathi’s BBM status read, ‘Wedding bells’. Celebrations kick start with a registered wedding in Goa on February 17. For this, Lara will wear a white outfit from designer Ritu Kumar’s Falaknama collection. For the sangeet the following day (Feb 18), to be held at Club Fresh in Goa, the two will wear traditional attire designed by Manav Gangwani.

“The church wedding is on February 19 and only close friends and family have been invited,” says Delhi-based socialite Timsy Anand who will be attending. It’s going to be a dream Christian wedding for the actress. For this, Lara will be wearing a white Elie Saab gown.

The post-wedding bash at Taj Vivanta, will have Victorian décor, done by Mumbai-based company Dreamz Kraft. “Lara wants a lot of lace, candle holders, crystal lamps and bows,” says a source. 300 guests, including actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu have been invited. The next day, another reception will be hosted in Mumbai.
