Salman Khan’s Sultan Heroine Will be TV Actress Mrunal Thakur from Kumkum Bhagya ?

Kumkum Bhagya’s Mrunal Thakur to star in Salman Khan’s Sultan?

The makers of Salman Khan's upcoming movie 'Sultan' are having a tough time in finalizing the film's leading lady. After rumours of Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon and most recently Bigg Boss 9 contestant Mandana Karimi, sources say that Zee TV's popular show Kumkum Bhagya's actress Mrunal Thakur has been approached for the same.

Mrunal, who plays the role of Bulbul in 'Kumkum Bhagya' has been approached to play one of the two heroines in 'Sultan'. As per the latest reports, the popular actress quit her show since the plot of the show revolved around two lead characters and her character became stagnant. The timing of her exit from the show raised our curiosity levels.

Sources say that 'Sultan' is not the first film offered to Mrunal. She was also approached for Aamir Khan's 'Dangal'. Nothing can be commented as the actress is keeping quiet on this development.

The names of a number of actresses floated around, but nothing has been finalised yet. We are still working on it and an announcement will be made soon. We have begun shooting so that we meet our deadline as the release date has already been announced and we do not want to delay the project," said a source working on the project.
