Neerja is a film based on the life of Neerja Bhanot who was shot dead by terrorists who hijacked the Mumbai-New York flight at Karachi on 5 September 1986. Neerja is the biographical film on flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor in lead titular role with story and screenplay by Saiwyn Quadras, dialogues by Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh and produced by Atul Kasbekar under the banner of Fox Star Studios. This film shows how the young flight attendant fought for the lives of her passengers.

The film revolves around the factual hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73 specifically focusing on flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. Watch the trailer of Neerja Below.
