Mumbai: The action-thriller Dhurandhar is not just collecting money; it is rewriting the box office rulebook. In an astonishing demonstration of overwhelming public acceptance and unprecedented word-of-mouth, the film has delivered a historic surge in its second week, pushing its total collection into elite territory.


The film, which opened strong last week, has completely defied the typical box office drop, posting colossal numbers on its second Saturday. Dhurandhar collected an eye-watering Rs. 50.50-51 crore nett approx on its second Saturday at the Indian box office.

This massive haul has propelled its nine-day running total to a staggering Rs. 271 crore nett approx, establishing the film as one of the year's fastest earners and firmly securing its position as a blockbuster.

A Historic Second Weekend Indian Box Office Collections of Dhurandhar

The most extraordinary metric, however, is the projection for the entire second weekend. The film is currently tracking to collect an astonishing Rs. 135-140 crore nett for its second three-day frame.

Crucially, this projected total is nearly 50 per cent higher than its opening weekend collection. This is a rare, almost unprecedented achievement in mainstream box office history, where films typically see a significant decline after the initial buzz fades. The massive jump in the second weekend highlights that initial positive reviews and audience feedback have turned Dhurandhar from a hit into a genuine cultural phenomenon.
