The decision comes hours after London-bound Air India Flight AI171, carrying 242 passengers and crew, crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport this afternoon. Rescue operations are underway, with emergency services, NDRF teams, and local firefighters on site, battling thick black smoke billowing from the wreckage.
