Indian and Pakistani actors came together for an award do in Dubai. Check out the pics of Sridevi, Mawra Hocane, Mahira Khan, Arjun Rampal and Govinda as they walk the red carpet.

In a slew of parties that happen every night, very few dresses ever catch anybody’s attention. Except that’s not what happened at the Masala Awards in Dubai, thanks to Mawra Hocane. The Pakistani actor, best known for her work in 2016 Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam, wore the most gorgeous gown by Michael Cinco to the awards night and impressed everyone with how well she pulled it off.

The dress had a long train, adorned with flowers made of red fabric. It required her quite a bit of help to get into a car with a tonne of dress flowing behind her.

Mawra was given the Social Media Sensation award.

Joining her at the event were other Pakistani actors like Raees star Mahira Khan, Hindi Medium’s Saba Qamar and Bollywood stars Govinda and Sridevi with their spouses Sunita Ahuja and Boney Kapoor respectively. Mahira was also seen in puffy pink Rami Al Ali dress that she paired with a diamond necklace and tied up hair.

When asked about the event on the red carpet, she said she was looking forward to meeting Govinda and Sridevi and also revealed that she will be taking some time off work in 2018. She was also spotted sharing a laugh with Sridevi during the function. She was presented the Asian Woman of Substance award at the event hosted by Boman Irani.

Sridevi wore a white, heavily embellished dress by designer Manish Malhotra who also uploaded pictures from the event.
