Don’t miss what the otherwise flamboyant Ranveer Singh is wearing as he meets Deepika Padukone’s dad, Prakash -- a tailored grey suit.

Looks like Anushka Sharma is leading the way for her Band Baaja Baarat co-star Ranveer Singh - a week after she announced her marriage with Virat Kohli, the Bajirao Mastani star met Prakash Padukone, father of his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone and also shared a picture in one of his Instastories.

And what do you think the flamboyant -- bordering on eccentric -- dresser wore for the occasion? A sedate grey suit. Now, we have seen Ranveer cutting ribbons in shorts and shrugs, attending awards event in electric pink and even rock dresses for which we have no description. So, a grey suit -- even if well-tailored -- left us wondering. However, we will chalk it up to the fact that Ranveer was meeting the ‘god of badminton’.


Ranveer was attending an event at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Excellence in Bengaluru where he also met Rahul Dravid, Abhinav Bindra, Geet Sethi and Vishwanathan Anand. Sharing an Instastory, Ranveer added pictures with each of the sports star he met.

Ranveer is currently gearing up for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega project Padmavati starring Deepika and Shahid Kapoor. He has also begun preparations for Zoya Akhtar’s next, Gully Boy.

Rohit Shetty’s Simmba and Kabir Khan’s 83 are a few other projects he will be working on While Simmba could be a spin-off of Shetty’s Singham, 83 is a film about India’s 1983 World Cup victory with Ranveer playing cricket captain Kapil Dev.
