Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to Delhi after a short honeymoon, in time for their first reception on December 21

The newlyweds again went for Sabyasachi ensembles and looked classy and elegant. While Anushka Sharma opted for a vibrant red and golden Benarasi, Virat Kohli kept it simple and classy in black bandhgala with a Kashmiri-work Pashmina shawl.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Delhi reception held for Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli on Thursday. Anushka and Virat, who married in Italy on December 11, visited PM Modi to invite him on Wednesday and he showed. The reception venue was Durba Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave. This was the first round of receptions in Virat's hometown for his extended family and dignitaries. Anushka and Virat posed for a photo-op outside the venue.

Virat and Anushka personally invited PM Modi on December 20. Anushka was dressed in a royal blue suit while Virat was dressed in dark blue kurta. PMO India's official Twitter handle shared pictures of Virata and Anushka's visit.
