Rajinikanth, who on Tuesday turned 67, received birthday wished from celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan, Sachin Tendulkar and Thiru O. Paneerselvam among many others.

Tamil movie star Rajinikanth thanked all his friends from the fields of politics, films and sports for their warm wishes on his 67th birthday.

Rajinikanth, who on Tuesday turned 67, received birthday wished from celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kamal Haasan, Sachin Tendulkar and Thiru O. Paneerselvam among many others.

"My heartfelt thanks to all my political friends, film fraternity friends, sports world friends and media friends and well wishes for wishing me on my birthday," Rajinikanth tweeted on Tuesday night.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. While finding him not guilty, the High Court had said there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by Mr Khan's licensed gun. HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father.
