Gauahar Khan in sexiest Asian list for fourth consecutive time

The actor, who is known for her choice of unconventional roles and movies, has ranked ninth position in the coveted list of renowned celebrities.


For the fourth consecutive year, Bollywood actress and model Gauhar Khan has been voted to the top 10 list of 50 Sexiest Asian Women list in the world. It is an annual UK poll, which has been released in London recently.

The actor, who is known for her choice of unconventional roles and movies, has ranked ninth position in the coveted list of renowned celebrities. The 34-year-old actress strongly believes that she has managed to achieve this feat because of her undying love and support from her ardent fans. It is a fan based forum which actually votes for their favourite actors, she said.

“The word sexy has followed the model, actress and TV personality for her entire career like a homing missile. It’s not just because of her explosive beauty, knockout figure and heaven-sent ability to make any outfit look hot. It’s also that winning personality, inspirational outlook on life and kind heart,” the Begum Jaan actor added.

The Fever actor is currently working to launch her own clothing line.

Salman Khan Issued Supreme Court Notice On Acquittal In Chinkara Poaching Case Actor Salman Khan was today issued notice by the Supreme Court on an appeal by the Rajasthan government challenging his acquittal in two poaching cases. In July, the Rajasthan High Court found the 50-year-old actor not guilty of killing an endangered species of gazelle or chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 while he was shooting a film in the desert state. The state government challenged his acquittal; it wants him to be imprisoned to serve the rest of his sentence - after being convicted in 2007 for hunting down and killing the chinkaras, he was awarded a one-year prison term and a five-year prison term respectively. He then spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. HYDERABAD: The Shoaib Malik-Ayesha Siddiqui tangle turned murkier on Sunday with the latter slapping serious charges against the Pakistani cricketer with the police. Acting on the complaint filed late in the afternoon, the Banjara Hills police registered cases against Malik under sections 498A (subjecting married woman to cruelty), 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Police said Ayesha has alleged that Shoaib married her, then harassed her over petty issues and later denied the nikah ever took place. Now, the complaint says, Shoaib is trying to marry again without her consent. Ayesha also alleged that Shoaib had offered her $1 million to keep the wedding under wraps and threatened to take her life in case she went to the media. A copy of the nikahnama was attached to the complaint, which was signed by Ayesha and brought to the police by her father. Soon after the success of 'Jolly LLB' the makers had announced a sequel to the movie. While Arshad Warsi was to play the protagonist in the sequel, the makers later replaced him with Akshay Kumar as they wanted a bigger star this time.
