Kareena Kapoor's Holiday Plans: To Spend Christmas and New Year in the Alps

License to chill

It's holiday time for super-busy Kareena Kapoor. She plans to spend Christmas and New Year in the Alps

Recently, in an interview Kareena Kapoor had told Mumbai Mirror, “I am living out of suitcases.” Now it's time for her to unwind. Come winter, Kareena will be off to the Alps to chill out, literally. In all probability, beau Saif Ali Khan will join her. Kareena has informed all her producers well in advance that she will not be available to shoot from the fourth week of December till early January. Our source close to the actress says, “If Kareena wanted, she could have taken leave during Christmas and New Year and graced many functions and even performed at some weddings. She had many such offers but she has turned them down.”

What made her turn down these lucrative offers? Our source reveals, “Kareena's family does not like her to perform at weddings. She understands that and has told them not to worry. She is looking forward to her vacation in the Alps.”

When contacted, Kareena's official spokesperson confirmed and said, “Yes. Kareena is going on a well-deserved holiday to the Alps.”
